We needed storage with a convenient location, storage on the first floor, clean, - you know - everything and cheap. :-) Totally surprising we did. Pricing was reasonable, the units are sparkling clean, all are on the ground level with roll up doors - yea!! Night and day difference from our first storage experience. Oh long access hours too and not far from the 78. I'm very pleased. Wonderful to find a place that fits your needs and management with a sense of humor. I've had good experiences here and recently a not so good experience. First I'd like to say that I've been using this storage facility for over 6 years and it seems really secure and the staff is friendly. Second, I recently upgraded to a larger storage unit and one thing I've noticed is that the secretary at the front said that they would send me a bill every month but I haven't received a single one. I only found out what my second month's bill was due by logging in online and finding out that my payment had been due 2 day... read more

I am very pleased with our experience at StaxUp Storage in San Marcos. The facility manager Brandiye Fleming is no kind and accommodating. The place is super clean and very secure. I highly recommend this location for your self storage needs.

This place was mediocre at best. I got a referral online and got a great first month deal on a 5x10 unit. However, there is a reason why it was a bargain. The staff is there half the time, I always seemed to visit the office during there "lunch". Also the weekend staff does not know how to do there job appropriately, as I moved out of my unit on a sunday and got called the following thursday asking if I had moved out my unit! Probably the worse experience of this all was, I did not receive a partial refund for the other half... read more
