Melanie was so incredibly helpful and polite when setting up storage for me. She went out of her way to make the process easy and all instructions for using facilities were very clear. Very professional. Good price for storage. Cost me less than my storage unit in Riverside. Thanks!
I planned on picking up 4x8 uhaul trailer and arrived at 9:15am. Electrical plug for tow hitch wasn't working. Rick rode with me to three places to find proper part AND installed it, hooking up all wiring so that it worked! Plus he gave me quick tutorial on backing up trailer. We we're done 3 1/2 hrs later! I'm so thankful for all his help as well as Melanie's flexibility and willingness to make things easy for me. It made it worth driving all the way to Beaumont since the 4x8 wasn't available at Uhaul close to me.

When me and my family first moved to Beaumont in 2006, this was the only storage facility that had been accommodating to our needs and fairly reasonable for what we required. They let us use their truck to move things into the unit, and gave us a rate of $89.99 a month for a 10 by 10 unit with a promise that the rate would not change. We've paid out bill on time for a decade and have been loyal. Honestly, I've had a unit at Yankee since they opened and Melanie is not only friendly but also totally helpful. When I needed to use their truck to move items it was free-not to mention simple and easy to switch to a bigger unit. I'm not sure who the guy was inquiring in the other Yelp review, I've only experienced the best customer service, professionalism and prices at Yankee!
Set up an appointment with the manager (Melanie M) to discuss renting a storage locker. I started asking basic questions (sizes, cost per month, etc) as I was not familiar with renting a locker. Melanie was VERY rude and unbelievably disrespectful. She made a comment that "I should know the details, prior to renting a unit". I continued to ask questions and then she cut me off, ended the meeting and told me she was late and had to take her friends daughter to dance class. Then told me to get out!
