I came there for a specific repair, with an estimate from a business in Grapevine of $480. After an inspection by your mechanic, multi other repairs were suggested and passed on to me via phone. Some, I okayed and others such as flushing brake fluid I will hold off on, still my total amount was $1090. I am old and have only one vehicle.
Well stress free auto told me that what was found on it was not covered with MaxCare. I'm an employee of CarMax and when told me he kinda laughed and then proceeded to tell me that the repairs needed was not covered and went to another shop and they know us well as we use them for service at times. Told them what had happen and showed what was needing repairs and they told me it would be covered and they set me an appointment next week to address issues with using MaxCare.
My daughter tried driving to college the next day and the coolant leak persisted. Forced us to tow her car to our normal mechanic for repairs. Feel like my money should be refunded.
The gentlemen that I spoke with on behalf of my mom was not very friendly on the phone. He sounded frustrated and annoyed when discussing the extended warranty. It got squared away but I won’t send my mom there again.
Hard to be too happy when replacing a couple of headlights cost $650.
Try to reduce your labor prices....spare parts price are in the internet so you can know when you are overcharged and that is not good.
Didn't do anything charged $100 for AC drain and refill, was told AC compressor was dead so they didn't do any work and still charged me.
Concerned about suggested repairs not needed. Had just replaced windshield wipers 30 days earlier and replace wipers on suggested list??
