I just want to say , I tour this facility looking for a new forever home for my parents, and I want to give a little feed back. Judy was the 1st person I made contact with and she did seem a bit rushed and unwilling to answer my questions because I was a "walk-in" which put a bad taste in my mouth for sunny view but my husband told me to try again. Recently I placed a dear friend for whom I am on her Advanced Directive into Sunny View after researching a few other retirement communities. It is welcoming, efficient, and the care quality is excellent. She is in Assisted Living and paying for extra services such as medication monitoring, escorts as needed, daily light housekeeping and more. The monthly price is still reasonable for all that she is receiving, including healthy well prepared meals which she can have delivered to her room or picked up as a "to go" meal if... read more

I highly recommend the Summer House memory care facility at SV in Cupertino for your loved ones. The systems they have in place are consistent and individually tailored. Summer House staff are caring and it's like they become an extension of your family. Special shout out to Sandra, Juanita, MaryLou, Jeany, Aki, TT, David, Roma & Caroline. They have taken such amazing care of my grandmother as she reached her 100th year during a global pandemic. Months would go by where I wasn't able to see her and they did such a good job keeping her safe, calm, happy and engaged while the rest of the world seemed to be falling apart. My dad lived in Los Altos over 60 years. He had many opportunities to visit friends in retirement communities all over the county. When it came time to make the move himself, he chose Sunny View. He really liked the neighborhood feel, the elegant but casual surroundings, and the friendliness of staff and residents.
