The staff are very helpful, discreet and dignified with their care. The home has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard and kept very clean. The food has a varied menu and well catered for.

My wife is happy at Swanholme Court. They respect her needs and the staff are very helpful with her needs and she is happy with the food which is given. Also, it has taken a lot of worry off me.

On arrival, I found the home very friendly and warm. The carers were very helpful and I could tell that they had a lot of empathy towards the residents. I have visited many homes over the years and this was one of the better ones - very good impression.

My husband had a week in Swanholme Court and I found all of the staff very friendly, and I will definitely take him there again as I know they will take good care of him.

My father was a temporary resident whilst my mum was in a transitional care bed next door at Eccleshare Court. He spent his first week in there whilst she was in hospital was encouraged to join in activities. He settled very quickly and was reassured by the staff (he had Alzheimer and is often bewildered). Once my mum was next door, my dad was taken round after breakfast to spend the day with her and brought back after tea. The staff at both homes co-operated to make sure that their stay was a pleasant experience.

I came here feeling very nervous having not been anywhere like this before but should not have been worried because it was a pleasant experience. The place was clean and the staff could not have been nicer. They put you at ease and made you feel as though they meant what they said and went on and proved what they said
