When I think of Dr. Seckin these are the words that come to mind. Gratitude, grateful, life-changing, a heart of gold. I feel compelled to give you a bit of background so you can understand the significance of this surgery for me. I am passionate about Endometriosis because it has affected me most of my life and I have a strong desire to raise awareness and help others not to suffer. Long story short I saw that Dr. Seckin's charity (EFA) was doing a patient awareness day in NYC in March 2018 and something told me I needed... read more
Business response:
Thank you, Melissa for your heartfelt review. We're glad to hear that you're feeling much better! Kind regards, SEC Staff
Dr. Seckin is one of the best endometriosis surgeon. Every time I go to the office, he really listens to me and is always concerned about my issues. Dr Seckin's office staff are a delight and they always work with me. I feel I can leave everything to them and they will take care of it. Thank you to the Doctor and everyone (Holli, Lucy and Kim) in the office for what you do. I am truly blessed to have found this great doctor.
Best thing I ever did for my health. Results were amazing.
I just had my laparoscopy with Dr. Seckin & Dr. Goldstein. It's been 6 days. He told my mom and aunt I would feel different... After removing 20ish lesions and my appendix I DO feel different! This recovery is exhausting (I'm a busy body and have to slow down), but a piece of cake compared to the years of pain I've gone through. Today I woke up and actually felt pain free, energized and like me 7 years ago! It comes and goes and I'll nap after all this enthusiastiasm, but I cant thank the entire team enough. I'm excited to b... read more
It's hard to put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein. After nearly 15 years of being practically bullied into believing my painful periods were just a part of life by my previous physicians, I was officially diagnosed with endometriosis by my new and wonderful OBGYN, Dr. Wetzel in July of 2017. The surgery in July ended up being just a diagnostic surgery due to the location of my endometrioma 'aka' chocolate cysts. I had a large chocolate cyst that was too close to my ureter and Dr. Wetzel was afr... read more
Two weeks ago I had endometriosis surgery, cystectomy, and removal of my left ovary and Fallopian tube with Dr. Seckin & Dr. Goldstein. Three months ago I had no idea what endometriosis was, let alone that I was battling it myself. About 11 years ago I was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. For 11 years I visited doctors, tried changing my diet, tried seeing a nutritionist, I tried getting acupuncture, etc. The gastrointestinal doctor wanted to put me on an antidepressant and anti anxiety medication. I was horrified! “... read more
