Much love from France Adrienne

From my daughter, Kristina Rippe. One year ago today Dr. Seckin quite literally saved my life. I had been suffering with Endometriosis since I was 16. The pain was becoming unbearable and was starting to every aspect of my life. I couldn't eat anything without feeling like I was going to be sick. The pain radiated down my leg and made it hard to walk sometimes. I would go weeks without sleeping. I had one doctor tell me my appendix ruptured (which it didn't) and several other doctors tell me that they understand it is Endome... read more

I am so thankful for Dr. Seckin and Dr. Goldstein. I had surgery today and as painful as it is right now physically , I feel so much better mentally. I honestly wish I would’ve met Dr seckin years ago when I was first diagnosed with endometriosis at 22(I’m now 32).This was my fifth surgery for endometriosis the last was a hysterectomy and I know it all Could’ve been avoided if I met him years prior. I am truly grateful for him and Karli. They truly saved my life.

One week ago today, I was just coming out of surgery with Dr. Seckin, Dr. Goldstein and their amazing team at Lennox Hill. I've been struggling to find the words to describe how it feels to have my life back. Despite surgery being longer and slightly more complex than originally anticipated, they literally identified and fixed a significant amount of problems that hadn't been caught by my previous laparoscopy surgeon a year ago. My level of pain, exhaustion, nausea, vomiting, bleeding, and depression grew so severe after my... read more

I was first diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2012 after suffering from a miscarriage and an inability to get pregnant again. I was having constant urinary problems which I always though were UTI’s but everytime I went to my old doctor, he said it wasn’t. After a few months of going back to him for the same reason, he suggested I have a Laparoscopy to see if I might have Endometriosis. I really didn’t know much about it so I agreed if it would help me with the chronic bladder problems. It was determined I had “stage 2” endom... read more

As much as I don't like posting personal info it is endometriosis month and a disease my daughter suffers with. She is in the hospital now and ended up with complications and a 2nd emergency surgery. It's been a tough week. Dr Seckin, a leading endo specialist and her doctor is a special, caring person who I am forever grateful for. I can't ever thank you enough for your care of her.
