After being diagnosed in 2010, and undergoing two ablasion surgeries, I though that I would never be able to live a normal life. Countless doctors told me that I would have to live with the pain, and there was nothing I could do. Finally I found Dr. Seckin. I knew right away he would be the one to help me. 1 week ago today Dr. Seckin saved my life. On the morning of Friday 6/3 2016, I checked into Lenox Hill Hospital for what was supposed to be a 2 hour excision surgery with partial hysterectomy, maybe a full hysterectomy. Dr. Seckin recommended we have Surgeon and co-lifesaver Dr. Panagiotis A. Manolas nearby since I have shown some bowel symptoms over the last 6 months. It took me months to find a doctor who had enough knowledge on endometriosis. Doctor Seckin was my eighth. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I feel for not only the work he did and the surgery but also the way he and his staff treated me. Dr. Seckin had made me feel like I was his only patient. Before I saw Dr. Seckin I was in pain every single day. I had surgery at the beginning of 2015 with a different surgeon who diagnosed me with endometriosis, but was unable to relieve my symptoms.
