I was first diagnosed with Endometriosis in 2012 after suffering from a miscarriage and an inability to get pregnant again. I was having constant urinary problems which I always though were UTI’s but everytime I went to my old doctor, he said it wasn’t. After a few months of going back to him for the same reason, he suggested I have a Laparoscopy to see if I might have Endometriosis. I really didn’t know much about it so I agreed if it would help me with the chronic bladder problems. It was determined I had “stage 2” endom... read more
As much as I don't like posting personal info it is endometriosis month and a disease my daughter suffers with. She is in the hospital now and ended up with complications and a 2nd emergency surgery. It's been a tough week. Dr Seckin, a leading endo specialist and her doctor is a special, caring person who I am forever grateful for. I can't ever thank you enough for your care of her.

Dr. Seckin is an amazing physician. I had excision surgery by Dr. Seckin on 2/17. Because my case was so complex, I had multiple services on my case. Every physician on his team was amazing. They all work so seamlessly together. I was admitted to Lenox Hill Hospital for 7 days. The care I received was phenomenal. From the physicians, residents, nursing staff, and ancillary staff. All the staff in his office are just as amazing. I can't thank Kim enough. Every request I've asked was done within 24 hours. Staff was also very r... read more
Today marks one month since my surgery and every day I feel a new difference! I went through my first cycle few weeks after surgery and it was a lot more tolerable than before. I didn't have any nausea, extremely little bloating, and no constipation. I've had terrible period cramps since I was 12 and yes I was told that it is normal. Nausea was something I dealt with everyday, fatigue on a daily basis, and constipation. My pain was so painful I would faint or throw up. Went to regular doctors and they mentioned it was normal... read more
Dr. Seckin is a miracle worker. There may not be a "cure" for endometriosis, but there is hope with the right care and surgical treatment. After 21 years of unbelievable pain I am now a new woman. I only wish there were more doctors like Seckin.
