Yesterday my daughter and I sat in Dr. Seckin's office for the last visit after the operation three weeks ago. We listened to yet another women's story on how she struggled for 20 years and now she has been pain free for two years. You learn a lot sitting there. *I know this is very long but if one person reads this and says , "Hmmm something isn't right " and seeks out help, it would be worth it * I'm 18 years old and I am on my way to college in 3 weeks- PAIN FREE!!! After being diagnosed in 2010, and undergoing two ablasion surgeries, I though that I would never be able to live a normal life. Countless doctors told me that I would have to live with the pain, and there was nothing I could do. Finally I found Dr. Seckin. I knew right away he would be the one to help me. On the morning of Friday 6/3 2016, I checked into Lenox Hill Hospital for what was supposed to be a 2 hour excision surgery with partial hysterectomy, maybe a full hysterectomy. Dr. Seckin recommended we have Surgeon and co-lifesaver Dr. Panagiotis A. Manolas nearby since I have shown some bowel symptoms over the last 6 months. I was prepared for all of this and was totally ok with it. I am 42, I have a 13 year old child, I was through with the dream of having more children and I ha... read more
