*I know this is very long but if one person reads this and says , "Hmmm something isn't right " and seeks out help, it would be worth it * I'm 18 years old and I am on my way to college in 3 weeks- PAIN FREE!!! I've always had very painful periods but last August when my period came, the pain stayed and it NEVER left until 6 days ago when Dr.Seckin removed 26 lesions, 24 positive for endometriosis. After being diagnosed in 2010, and undergoing two ablasion surgeries, I though that I would never be able to live a normal life. Countless doctors told me that I would have to live with the pain, and there was nothing I could do. Finally I found Dr. Seckin. I knew right away he would be the one to help me. The office staff, especially Kim helped me fight my insurance company to get them to cover the surgery, when other doctors wouldn't help at all. 3 weeks out from surgery and I already feel different. 1 week ago today Dr. Seckin saved my life. On the morning of Friday 6/3 2016, I checked into Lenox Hill Hospital for what was supposed to be a 2 hour excision surgery with partial hysterectomy, maybe a full hysterectomy. I was prepared for all of this and was totally ok with it. I am 42, I have a 13 year old child, I was through with the dream of having more children and I ha... read more

It took me months to find a doctor who had enough knowledge on endometriosis. Doctor Seckin was my eighth. I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I feel for not only the work he did and the surgery but also the way he and his staff treated me. Dr. Seckin had made me feel like I was his only patient. He understood my pain and frustration and immediately told me to change my diet and see his referral for Acupunturist. Walking into his office his nurses know who you are a...
