The food at Ted's Bulletin is really amazing & I am so glad that we went as we were only visiting DC & won't have another opportunity to go any time soon. However, the service was very slow. We were only one of four tables when we went (around 2:30 pm on a Thursday) & the waiter would disappear for long periods of time. The food did make the trip worth it, though.

I love this place and I go there often. Usually everything is perfect: the food, the ambiance, the service, etc. The food was perfectly fine this time (breakfast for dinner!) but our service was really weird. Our waiter was way too chatty with the person I was with and even came over and interrupted our conversation at least three times to talk to him some more. They did not know each other. He also touched me twice, rubbing my shoulder, which made me really uncomfortable. Other quirks: he made disapproving comments about an... read more

The service was notably outstanding, and the prices didn't break the bank. The staff was warm and engaging. While dinner was a bit long, this was partly due to the indecision on the large menu. Notably Ted's: -let us be seated when only 6 of the 10 person group had showed up -my friend's drink came a bit late, after a mistake when two were brought out accidently, both were removed from the bill -my friends asked to get me a house-made poptart as a "cake" (the jam filled ones are the best, the nutella one was a bit dry). 3 ca... read more

I've been to Ted's several times and have never been disappointed. My father was visiting from out of town, and we had a very nice dinner. I can't remember our server's name, but she was very attentive and quick as she could be in getting our food to us. Dad had a milkshake, which he rated as fantastic. and I had a Midriff, which was likewise excellent. We shared a bunch of poptarts for dessert. Will definitely bring him again.

The hostess was so kind to help my 1yr old and I get settled as we waited for a friend to join us. My stroller was safely tucked away until after the meal, and there was a high chair prepared. Even though when we left, it looked like a spaghetti crime scene, NO one shot condescending looks our way (sooo nice for a change). The server was attentive to our timeframe and recommended great picks. I had the three little pigs burger (picked off the pork rhines) and MAN WAS IT AWESOME coupled with an adult milkshake on a Tuesday ni... read more

The breakfast was OK, they did have unique features such as the homemade pop-tarts and adult milkshakes, which were delicious, but overall the breakfast was pretty standard compared to Bob Evans or other places.

GET THE POP-TARTS! Best thing on the menu. Well, we've only eaten here once, but we plan on coming back many times. DELISH! My husband split the lamb burger (okay, a little overcooked--we didn't send it back for re-do because we were so happy and sugar buzzed from the WONDERFUL POP-TARTS which we had as an appetizer) and our daughter had the wonderfully fluffy and delish pancakes. Love the decor, a little too loud, but we'll take it if it comes with a side of POP-TARTS, schnarf!

Great neighborhood "barracks row" upscale diner. Fantastic sweet tea and "walk of shame" breakfast burrito. Split a tasty homemade poptart at the end. Recommend to anyone wanting to eat outside of DC center.

I definitely like the feel, look and atmosphere of Ted's Bulletin but unfortunately the food is only okay. Came super early on a Sunday morning for breakfast and even though it was the crack of dawn the place was still busy. I definitely love the look of Ted's, it isn't an overly big place but it has decent space and a nice feel. I love the skylight above the main dining area, and the decor is cozy and very old fashion. I enjoy the big screen TV that showed the Wizard of Oz and the Three Stooges during my visit. Service was ... read more
