Stopped in for Brunch on Easter. Wait staff was wonderful (Nicole!) and the food was really good. We were there for a 8:00 reservation. Glad we booked ahead, lots of people waiting after 8:30. The strawberry lemonade pop tart was great. We will definitely be going back, and will recommend it to others.
Amazing lunch/brunch! We will definitely be back next time in DC.
While everything I've had here is good, I'm consistently drawn to the perfectly cooked and seasoned turkey burger. I also love the brussels sprouts side dish - although this last time it was way to salty. And who can resist a strawberry pop tart to finish the meal?
Great service, wonderful aroma of homemade pop tarts, coffee is free, creative menu which is like reading a newspaper...the ambience is incredible. Old Time theme lives up to the name.It is casual which is rare for DC and that is a nice change of pace...family oriented, love this must see place on the hill!
Very fun place that was family friendly. Malts were a must and burgers we top notch.
Simple, home-made food; excellent quality; excellent service. The only complaint is that I made a pig of myself.
We were here for breakfast at 7:45 on a Saturday morning. There were plenty of available tables, but by 8:30, the entire place was full. Ted's ended up being way smaller than I imagined! Maybe 20 tables in a single room. Great ambiance with the "old timey" music and silent film showing on the only TV in the dining room. Somewhat of a limited breakfast menu, but what they do, they do well. When we got there, it was nice and quiet; as we were leaving, my wife commented that she could barely hear me due to the crowd noise. This... read more
My recent trip to Ted's I ordered the peanut butter burger and it was delicious! My friend on the other hand was disappointed with her seafood platter, but other than the that I had an awesome experience. The staff was very accommodating to my friend, which is the reason for the five star rating in service. I would definitely go to Ted's again, as well as recommend it to anyone. Think of if as an upscale diner! =p
We had a fabulous time at Ted's. It felt like we were in the heart of the political scene. The staff were great with our tween/teen children also. And definitely order the homemade pop tarts!
