The food is ok, the service ok, but nothing is great. I needed a place for breakfast with a former DC resident who was in town. We mostly wanted to visit, so the food/service not being great wasn't a disaster. No bread served with breakfast without an extra charge is a rip off. Omelet had no cheese. I have had better lunch and dinner experiences but generally overrated compared to other places on the street.
I had burger tuesday night. good deal. Heads up, if you order the alcoholic shake with special tuesday burger, it's additional $3.
Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner, Ted's is a great spot to hangout and enjoy a wonderful meal in a cool dinner environment. The staff is friendly and it's always a favorite for those who can get a table.
Great place for a business breakfast or lunch near the Hill. A recent breakfast was quick and the food and service were great. Highly recommend.
Can't have the other words towards the food, desert and milkshake.
My turkey burger was so moist and delicious, and the waitress was so friendly and sweet. Ted's is one of my favorite places to eat. Whether I eat in or carry out, I always enjoy my food there.
The food was very good and I really enjoyed the bacon and Bleu cheese brussel sprouts. The cornbread was excellent. Would definitely go back.
After 6 months of trying to dine here we got our chance and it was great!! Have to try your brunch and lunch some day!
What we love most about Ted's is that you can get breakfast there at any time. Also the service is always prompt and the servers are always super polite and attentive. We've enjoyed every meal we've ordered there and the chocolate shake is our absolute favorite so far. We will definitely come back here for special brunches and whenever we are craving that amazing chocolate shake!
