We love Ted's. We bought a dozen poptarts to bring west to friends, everyone's them! And the brussel sprouts are to die for...
The food isn't terrific at Ted's, but the restaurant serves a decent breakfast, and the adult milkshakes are delicious. It's a fun place to go any time of day.
Ted's remains a great place to really eat well. This is my go to place for old standards- breakfast done well, classic American diner food, spectacular milkshakes. Just don't forget to buy some homemade poptarts on the way out!
I had a party of 8 at Teds for my birthday dinner. The staff was super accomadating from making the reservation to even taking group photos for us! The food/drinks were awesome tasting, reasonably priced, and the fact that they serve breakfast all day will keep me going back!
Recommend the burger with peanut butter on it... and the martini made with fig...and the chocolate pecan pie for dessert! Delicious pre-theater dinner in Eastern Market and easy parking out front on a Saturday night.
It is a neighborhood gem, one of the stable places on 8th Street in Eastern Market. Reliable place to go for dinner. I brought an out-of-town friend. She enjoyed (especially) the chocolate milkshake (smile).
Katy was an outstanding server. Came in on the way from work to a volunteer meeting in MD. It was burger and shake night. Good jazz playing and the movie was Miricle on 34th Street. While Ted's Bulletin is no miracle on 8th Street, it has comfort food even folks who doubt Santa will love.
My first visit and I enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service. Grilled cheese and tomato soup hit the spot. Looking forward to another visit.
I was visiting DC with a frend from Slovakia. I wanted a American type menu at a reasonable price. The food was great. Our waiter was very attentive and my friend enjoyed the delicious Pop Tarts that he never heard of. I descibed to him that when you buy them in the store they taste like cardboard but these were delicious! Great place!
