Get directionsAfter 8+ years we are increasingly disappointed with this facility. The maintenance of the grounds is slipping with mold stains on many walls. The latest trend is to add supplemental charges wherever possible, parking , transportation, gym classes , and entertainment events which used to be covered by the monthly assessments. Rent is guaranteed to increase by anywhere from 3-6% annually- count on it! The latest move is to demand residents reserve a dinner time and this must be done daily. All changes from management are dire... read more
This used to be an elegant place to live. Now the maintenance of the building is poor, the food is very poor, entertainment is very limited and management comes down hard on the residents when they try to discuss these issues. Despite all this rent continues to increase 3-6% a year without fail. Now they are adding charges for rides, take out trays., exercise classes, parking, and anything else they can think of. There is no medical assistance for independent living residents. They have the biggest apartment s in the area bu... read more

We removed our loved one from The Brennity at Melbourne and brought him home last [date removed]. I would never use them again. They are underrated, understaffed for the money they charge.
My loved one was previously a resident at The Brennity at Melbourne Senior Living and the experience was not good. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this facility to others.

Living at The Brennity My wife and I moved to the BRENNITY,Melbourne Fl in May of 2018. When we moved into our cottage it was very nice, - people were friendly, employees were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Around the last of November or the first of December everything changed for the worse. Decisions by local managers as well as people from corporate changed our transportation arrangements, we had to wait three weeks to go shopping (at Christmastime!), we could only get free transportation to doctors on ... read more

Not enough staff, food shortage, did dispense medication properly - Residents falling numerous times needing hospital care w/ stittches - spouse sent to hospital and no one contacted me.
When we first moved in ,this was a beautiful southern mansion style facility. It’s been remodeled to look like a dentist office with no awareness of geriatric safety, tile floors for main areas very slippery in rain and a hard surface to for falls. They havehad 12 managers in 12 years! Corporate offices in Texas . Recently added recreational area which over 80’s could not use- anyone want to push a 4 foot chess piece? In the heat of florida with no shade coverings? No triage medical services- don’t be fooled by claims for on... read more
I am thinking of taking my husband out. He has fallen and they do not know how he fell. The first time his medications were due for renewal, they waited until he ran out so they could use their pharmacy instead of VA> they did tell us they were gonna take him and drop him off at his appointments. They are very understaffed and when you talk to the director he says they are not understaffed. They have 1 nurse for the entire facility, that is for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. They have their doctor come... read more
We haven't been able to visit since April, and the communication has severally been lacking between the staff members and the residents and the staff members and the families. Our loved one fell outside and she had to get herself over to a tree to get yourself up and the staff didn't know about it. She had also fallen in her room, she was able to pull the cord to get help but the staff members did not tell us about it like they should of, we had to hear about it from our loved one.
