We are great fans of the Chateau going back to the 1960’s. Tonight it took an hour to get our entrees. A simple Chicken Parm sandwich got sent back twice. Our server tried her best but it seemed the kitchen got overwhelmed. Sunday is a busy night but not enough seating available. Prices are rising. The kitchen and staffing must keep pace.
Salmon was dry (overcooked). Steak tips were chewy. Noise level too load to have a conversation.
I’ve been going to Château for years. This place has gone totally downhill. It reminds me of what has also happened to Kelly’s roast beef.
Very unhappy with the service. It took so long to have our order taken and because of that the potato I ordered was all gone. I saw what must have been the last one on the plate of someone that sat down after us but ordered before us.
We normally enjoy our dinners there, but this time we were seated in the back next to several tables set up for a large group. Shortly after being seated the group of about 20-25 people sat down and it became so loud that my husband and I could not hear each other talk. We’ve been many many times and it’s always been great. We had made a reservation this time because we had a toddler with us. Our waiter didn’t bring water or bread until much later when we asked. Our food took a very long time, everyone that came in after us were getting served while we were not. We couldn’t even see our waiter so we asked another to check.
