The servers were crying over price and overcharged me
I ordered chicken Parm and it was one of the worst meals I ever ate Even the waitress and the manager agreed How can the chef put out a meal like that I don't think I will evr come back
We told the waiter that we had a child with food allergies specifically nut and dairy. He even brought the manager over to tell us how serious they take it. Fast forward 20 minutes. His pasta shows up with meat sauce and a meatball with cheese in it! He apologized over and over but thankfully the child didn’t take a bite.
We've been patrons for years and this visit was disappointing. Our dinners were delivered when I was away from the table, my husband's meal was just lukewarm, and he described it as "acceptable but not delightful".
We took out of towners to your wonderful restaurant. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. One person ordered lobster and said it was outstanding. We live in Newton, MA and go to the Chateau in Waltham. It's so convenient and the food is always OUTSTANDING. We'll be back again soon - can't wait to have your haddock Germain - SO DELICIOUS, and oooked perfectly. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
The meal was mediocre
It is old and tired. There is a Keno attendant in the restaurant. The red sauce dishes were ok but the vegetables were overcooked and salty. Nice waitstaff. Not expensive, but not my kind of place.
We made a reservation for 8 for Sunday march 24 and informed two of the managers that this was a family gathering from people who flew in from France to scatter the ashes of their mother who died. Not only did they not inform me that there would not be a quiet area for our gathering they put us in the BAR! The wait staff was slow to attend us and not the least bit engaging. We needed to find a place that would satisfy a vegetarian and someone that mostly eats meat. The Chateau was able to fit into this category, I just wish they used more nutritious lettuce than iceberg on the salad. They do have Caesar salad which is Romaine so that is better. They also have white rolls and I wish more restaurants would serve whole grain rolls. But the value was good for the area.
