I love this place. I love it because the food is consistently excellent, original, inventive, and the service matches. I mainly love it because of where it is: 10 minutes from my home, tucked in a cozy corner of The Vintage--not downtown, not in The Heights, not in the Museum District, not in The Woodlands--but right here in the unassuming northwest suburbs. Came to Texas for the first time. I wanted to celebrate my birthday at The Chef’s Table. Drove 1 hour from our hotel to dine here. The entire experience from entry into the restaurant was full of enthusiasm from all the staff. Constantin (our server) was awesome. He explained the menu items and answered our questions in great detail. 100% worth the trip/drive/jet lag. I am in Texas for a family event and made sure I had an extra day just for me. So happy I decided to come to The Chef’s Table.
