This place absolutely blew me away with the flavors they have, the service and history behind the restaurant. I started off with a cup of the gumbo that was a 10/10 on flavor and spice. The roux was perfect and highly recommend if you enjoy gumbo at all, my entree was the back yard braai which was also a 10/10 and has all of the best items on menu! Came here for a date night with my husband and everything from the service down to dessert were a 10 out of 10! Henry our server had great recommendations and did not disappoint with any of his suggestions. He was also well educated in the restaurants history and menu! Coming from a 9 month pregnant wife this place is our top choice for date night now! You won’t be disappointed!
