About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. I grew up in what was known as the Transvaal province of South Africa, they called it the land of the Xhosas, one of the major ethnic tribes in this part of Africa. Food was very good but pretty expensive for the small portions we got. Service was friendly and excellent.

The surf and turf along with the brussel sprouts was wonderful. The creamy sauce on the shrimp, the glaze on the brussel sprouts and the chimichurri on the steak! Beautiful flavors.

This is easily one of the most enjoyable meals I've had in several years. My husband and I both tried something we wouldn't usually order and were impressed. The server did a great job explaining each dish and was attentive without being overwhelming. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu very soon.

Great all round place, the Brussels sprouts were spot on and the experience was great. Outdoor seating with plenty of shade.
