With all the new restaurants popping up on social media that under-delivered- Chef’s Table was a breath of great fresh air! Amazing service from beginning to end. Our server Madison was 10/10! She had a great personality and also detailed knowledge about the menu. Everything arrived quickly to the table as well. The food was also 10/10! We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday at The Chef’s Table. It was our first time there, and The Chef’s Table didn’t disappoint (as you can tell from the ratings). Very clean, elegant and intimate setting. The owner was super cool (we even got to take a picture with him). The service was excellent. I had the Salmon and my wife had Lamb. Went to The Chefs Table to celebrate my birthday with my wife. Our waiter Constantine was very attentive and welcoming and provided a great overview of the menu. I was told I was the first to try the new plating of the Backyard Braai which was a great choice. It allowed me to try multiple meat and side selections and was delicious. My wife had the Lobster Ravioli and we also had the Peri Peri Calamari. Both were great and the sauces that came with the calamari were so good! I came here tonight with my new bride because she had never been here before or had food with a South African flare. She had the lamb and I had the cape point crossing, which is pretty much what the old Cape Town skillet used to be. We also had calamari and sweet potato fries, and of course, finished off with sticky toffee pudding. Everything was fantastic, and she was thoroughly impressed. We’ll be back!
