About The Chef My name is Paul Friedman and I like to think of myself as just an ordinary guy who has had a lifetime love affair with food and the fortune of having owned and operated 58 restaurants in South Africa, Europe and the United States. The food was excellent. We opted for the sautéed calamari as a starter and my husband expressed the morning after that he could've eaten a bucket full. Very flavorful and the calamari were tender . We split a Caesar salad and then chose the nights special, beef wellington and on-menu jerk snapper as well as the five cheese whipped potatoes and the sautéed mushroom. Beautiful place for dinner out with significan other or friends. I had the impala, the taste was perfect but the texture was hard. Wife had the prawns with a Saffron rice pilaf that tasted more like Mexican rice.
