A classic environment for an unhurried meal; great halibut, schnitzel and beef. Our service was thorough and timely. Definitely an evening to be enjoyed!

From the service to the food, absolutely outstanding. Took our daughter to celebrate her graduation from college. We our from out of state, but she had been there previously on a date and wanted to go back. Couldn't have been more pleased!

I love the atmosphere. It reminds me of the River Cafe in Brooklyn which was Elizabeth Taylor's favorite place. Unfortunately the food was not good at all. The drinks were good but the wine selection was way below average. Also why don't you have a soft piano player/music. You may need to fix the acoustics as it is loud but a little soft classical music from the 50's might help. I love the space but deplore the food. Need a new head chef!!!

Great ambience, though it was fairly loud the day we were there. I really liked the fish I had with crab salad on top of it, a bit of avacdo and wild rice. However I found the menu to be quite limited - no pastas, etc. and only about 6 items to choose from. Wait staff in the bar and the restaurant were great. The appetizers looked good and you can't beat the historic nature of the place..

Menu is small but not limiting. Nicely presented. Not so much that you can't have every course. Great cocktail list. Staff were very attentive. There was a bit of a wait between starters and mains but we weren't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue. Really nicely restored art deco venue, would definitely go again. Plenty of seating that you don't have to book. All in all our meals were very good.
