This was my first time at the Commodore Bar and Restaurant and I was really impressed. My wife knows that I like this type of bar and restaurant and I made the reservations for our anniversary. Needless to say they were great. Our water, Dave, was great and checked on us just enough so as not to be intrusive but still made sure that we had everything that we needed. We will go back, in fact we joined the club.
The atmosphere was very historical and interesting. Great job with the remodeling! The food is fit for foodies. However, the prices were very reasonable.
Love that the Commodore is back open! Just a bit disappointed in the food this visit. Would not recommend getting the wedge salad and scallops. The same root vegetables were served on both ; very duplicated. Could have used some guidance from our server.
I loved this restaurant! The food was delicious as well as the value! I'll be back with my husband. Service was good, just a little slow.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and made the experience even better
Delicious dinner. Service was nicely paced. Each dish was well prepred and presented.
Exceeded expectations
What a lovely evening! My dinner started with a grilled vegetable salad for which I underestimated the flavor I was about to enjoy. The grill and garlic aioli definitely put it over the top! After was the sole dinner - delicious also. My husband thought he had one of the top burgers that he has eaten around the cities. Thoroughly enjoyed. The mixed drinks that we started with were a nice touch as well!
We were celebrating a birthday and anniversary which they gave us champagne and a candle with dessert which was really nice. The staff were chatty and really friendly. The Fitzgerald martini was great. As a main course I would probably order something different as I found the risotto dish just ok. As a fun place to dress up and have a lovely meal in a wonderful atmosphere I would highly recommend the Commodore.
