Best gym I've ever been to. I've been an Edge member for a few years, and before that was a member of other local CT gyms. Edge Stratford is by far my favorite. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and helpful, particularly Kelsey at the front desk and Kelly the personal trainer. This location doesn't get as crowded as other Edge gyms during peak after-work hours. The sauna is also a huge plus. I love this location! I frequent this one and Shelton and this one is a step better. Everything is more spread out and very organized. I love the sauna and the cardio cinema. I love that the cinema shows more recent movies for the most part. I usually don't have time to go to the theaters so it's nice I can still see the same movies but get my cardio in at the same time! The staff is so helpful and friendly even late night. I usually go during the night and even then everyone is so nice! I definitely recommend this location!

Not only is the gym clean and beautiful, but the staff is beyond amazing. They have seriously gone so far out of their way to be accommodating to me! The environment is great. Locker room are also nice and clean and the smoothie/shake bar is to die for! My trainer Jimmy is amazing and has made my goals attainable while pushing me to be my best self and to accomplish more than I thought I ever could. A different feel an environment than the Milford location, however just as amazing! Definitely more room which makes any workout seem good. This location also has a sauna and a cardio cinema, so it will be a great spot to come to again! Got a great workout in as well as great amenities.

Great Edge location... -Plenty of parking -Open gym with a lot of cardio / weight equipment -Cardio cinema with a great movies that change each day -Sauna -Large locker rooms I'll often come to this location, despite there being closer Edge locations, due to the amenities.

I love the gym. I think it's laid out perfectly (except the need for a water fountain in back) and the theater and sauna are major pluses. My major gripe is the music in early morning 530-630am. Every single day it's classic rock. Don't get me wrong- I love classic rock but it is NOT I repeat NOT workout music. I've complained about it for so long and no one listens so I resorted buying a $200 pair of headphone. the morning staff, George in particular are wonderful but PLEASE put on some better gym music!

This is a very nice gym. I live in Las Vegas where I take Body Pump classes three times a week, and every time I come to Connecticut to visit my parents I look for somewhere to take Body Pump. They finally started offering it here so I had a friend who's a member take me as a guest. Unfortunately though, it cost me $15 just for 1 class! I think that's pretty high, especially since she said her membership is only like $20 per month. This is hands down the best gym I have ever belonged to. Ok so does a gym really need a movie theatre? Also,you do have to take into account it is brand new. But I have to say the atmosphere is very nice. The weights and machines are awesome. The only draw back are the same ol idiots you get from gym to gym. The ones who don't put their weights away and re rack them. Or the ones who expect you to clean their sweat off the machine when they are done. But I suppose that falls into gym etiquette.
