The front desk needs to work on their customer service and attitudes. They're all so into themselves you could be waiting to ask for a cup of water and they'll look at you like...."oh you need help?" every other edge i went to im greeted at the door with kindness and i have no problem with asking them for help. Stratford definelty needs new front desk service minus the attitude.
Horrible treatment supposedly by one of the managers..FREDDIE WHITE I have been with edge for many years and not 2 or 3 years. I am talking about 8 years. One of my good friends wanted to try out the gym for one day (one day pass) which I had done in the past. Went into the Stratford Edge this Morning- And was told to ask for KARLY the manager. She confronted us and was extremely rude right off the bat to my wife and I demanding we take a seat and wait for someone else. When I started to explain my situation to her, she rudely interrupted me and said that she doesn't want to talk about our issues and demanded again that we take a seat and wait for a club member. I have to say I quit going there 3 months after they moved to the new location. The parking was worse than ever, the classes all changed I had a difficult time getting a spot, then you had to start paying for classes that you were use to going too! I'm sorry great facility but the place sucked! The whole process was more frustrating then before. So I still paid for 6months even though I didn't use their facilities so when I finally got around to cancel my membership I couldn't just go to the club and cancel I had to call and... read more

Can you say GHETTO? If you are going there in between the hours of 5:30 and 10:30pm it is nothing more then a ghetto hangout spot. Groups of people standing around machines, slamming the weights down, loud talking, arguing in the parking lot, and their all constantly on their phone. Lmao. Morons.. it's sad, I was very excited and waiting for this gym to open and it's a shit show and like a dive bar hookup spot.

Was told I could quit at anytime when signing up and I that was the first lie, I have to wait the 12 months to quit even though I wasn't told that's what I was signing for. Then I was told I would be paying the same as the crunch, BIG lie. Last I was never told about the 50$ yearly fee. This gym is nice and clean but not worth all this money and nonsense. Wish I never signed up in the first place.
My car was broken into in this location. Apparently this happens often from what the cop told me. There are signs around the parking lot saying they have surveillance, but one of the edge staff members advised me the cameras don't work. My belongings were stolen from under my seat. I feel very unsafe and will no longer be working out in this location. They will be moving to a new location so hopefully this won't happen to anyone else.
Bad experience with todays front desk staff. my guest was harassed, like you are desperate for members. Called ahead to make a reservation for my guest. No problem, just tell her to sign at the desk. Was not allowed entrance until a fee was paid, so I told them to give her a free one week trial,arrived at two, did not get to work out until 3:10 because had to wait in lounge area for someone to come out and talk to my guest to sign her up and all I wanted was a one day pass. then after I am cancelling my platinum membership, ... read more
