RecommendedBeautiful surroundings in nature. The people are loving ,joyful and filled with the spirit of God. The vegetarian food is delicious and prepared with love. When I'm there I feel like I am surrounded in a bubble of light and love. I'm so blessed to live close for regular visits.

just spent an amazing week at the First Timers Retreat. I knew it would be a good experience for me from what I had read about Ananda and the Expanding Light Retreat. However, I received much more than I expected. While there is discipline involved in attending the daily yoga and meditation as well as the intstructional classes there is no pressure to do so. I stayed at Expanding Light Retreat for Level 1 Ananda Yoga® Teacher Training (28 days) and felt right at home. Everyone is so welcoming and supportive during your stay. I am so grateful for all of the Retreat staff, Kitchen angels and Karma Yogi's. Whether your visit is a few days or extended, I highly recommend a stay at the Expanding Light Retreat! I am looking forward to the next visit!!! So much LOVE.
I visited for a personal meditation retreat. I went with the notion I was going to reset and do some personal healing. It ended up being a life changing experience. I cannot thank you enough for offering this loving space and sharing all the beauty, both physical and spiritual. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our Mother Earth. I will be back!
Experienced my first weekend meditation retreat last summer at the Expanding Light. Beautiful grounds and gardens, and a great place to "digital detox" and enjoy some quiet reflective time away from it all. Truly a magical place filled with dedicated and wise spiritual healers. Many activities are optional including massage, yoga, and group sits. The vegetarian food was delicious.
