Very happy with the location, security, cleanliness and especially very supportive & friendly staff. The apartment is located right in a busy part of DTLA with lots of restaurants, wine bars and clubs. The units facing Spring Street have a great view of the lively city. While the units on the back overlook a courtyard and you don't feel like you are in the city at all. This place does NOT allow smokers. And I am happy about that. no smoking allowed in the apartments or in any common areas. Not even out your windows. People have been getting caught smoking and they're getting kicked out for it. Lazy people that want their apartment and all their stuff to smell disgusting. Go do that somewhere else. I'm not about to have all my clothes smell like you disgusting smokers. The girls at work noticed my dress smelled like smoke once. Oh heck no. Had to deep clean everything. I moved here in December and overall, I really do love living here. The other residents are super friendly and the building feels super secure with the key fob entry and 24-hour concierge desk. All of the staff are friendly especially Iris at the concierge desk and Vincent the Maintenance Manager. Building management is very responsive and communicative, which I love. I love Lofts at Security. I've been here for over 10 years and I can say hands down that this is the most secure and safe places I've ever lived. The building is very secure with a 24 hour concierge and a security officer at night. The front and back doors require an electronic key and the elevators are also locked. They make sure that everyone signs in and they require ID. As a survivor of assault, I feel very safe here and know that my belongings are safe as well. This is the first review I have ever written for a business. I strongly feel that I should not have to write one unless there was a very good reason. Moved into this place 2012. Back then Jeff (god rest his soul) was the leasing manager and I signed up for 1675 which was a pretty good deal considering I got one of the 0 bedroom 2 bathroom open floor plan. I lived here for 2 years. The apartment itself was great. Good space, lots of natural light, and an amazing location. I lived over the alley, it was super noisy and the building directly across from me had constant fire alarms and smoke detectors, some of which would go off for 18hrs+ Maintenance was good for the most part aside from one, very critical, situation in which a leak in the apartment above me leaked onto my bed and it took 1 month for my ceiling to be fixed despite putting in 3 maintenance requests and speakin... read more

I lived in this building for over two years. The loft provided me almost everything that I needed. My work was the center of my life at that time. It was very important for me to get to every major city and venue within 30 min. The location of the loft well served me for the purpose, but that wasn't only reason I lived in the building. Been living at the lofts for about 2-3 months now and i love it! The building itself is pretty cool and the staff members are always there to help you. Outside noise is pretty loud but it's DTLA and you get over it in about a months time. Bars and clubs right outside your building? That's what sold me tbh lol my only wish is for a rooftop...but I'll live.

Lived here for a year and would recommend it. Pros: The building is clean, the lobby is well appointed, the lofts have modern appliances and central air, interior and exterior units have great natural light, laundry on every floor, and very responsive and helpful management + concierge. Rooms are quiet and you'll never hear your neighbors through the walls. Security is on site 24/7. You are notified when packages arrive.
