The office staff... (Verified Renter) The office staff is pleasant and easy to deal with. We had an issue with the garbage disposal and it was resolved in a very short amount of time.
The apartment facility... (Verified Renter) The apartment facility is for the most part affordable, especially considering the amenities provided. It is located in what feels like a safe area (only lived in Portland for about 3 weeks). The only things that stand out as negatives are how difficult it can be for people to get to the apartment, and once they make it to the south waterfront area, there really isn?t a place for long term, free parking.

I've been very... (Verified Renter) I've been very happy at the Matisse and have always found the staff super friendly and helpful. I have also had very few maintenance requests, probably because the bldg is generally very well maintained/new. But every time I needed something, it is dealt with very efficiently. I have already recommended the bldg to several friends and will continue to.
The degree of... (Verified Renter) The degree of how maintenance responded to my request wouldn't have an overall big impact on my recommendation of the Matisse in general. I just put 6 right now because at this point, I'm left in the dark about what needs to happen next. If there is anyone who can follow-up with me about my garbage disposal and the area on the ceiling where the water leak was, I'd appreciate it.

I would because... (Verified Renter) I would because in the past when I have submitted requests for maintenance at buildings I lived in during college it would take them at least a week to even respond. Then it would take weeks to actually get the repair done.
Maintenance issues are... (Verified Renter) Maintenance issues are resolved quickly, even on weekends. None of the hassle of "do it yourself" home ownership.
