Expensive, but good... (Verified Renter) Expensive, but good deals for new residents. Would recommend as a one year lease for people who are new to Portland and just need a safe, clean place to live in close proximity to OHSU. Don't think it is a good long term investment.

I would recommend... (Verified Renter) I would recommend but to make sure the apt location is not near the noisy garage door. I can not sleep with my windows open because of the garage door opening alert noise.
I have recommended... (Verified Renter) I have recommended the Matisse numerous times and overall really like the building and community. However, the constant rent increases make it hard for me to recommend the bldg over others in the neighborhood that do not have such steep increases. I was lucky to have avoided a recent increase of $60/month when friends after previous increases of $15 and $40-50 when friends in other buildings have had $0 or $10 increases every year.
