The good first: New construction; doors unlocked but alarm activated until code is put in the keypad by staff; kept fairly clean; trash emptied in a timely manner; plenty of food prepared. Bad: The staff was always friendly BUT most of them were new and inexperienced. We spoke with the director several times about our loved one NOT being checked on very often. Comments: Mustang Creek is incredibly responsive and communicative until you sign the contract. In addition to your move-in fee - you have to pay a 14-day additional fee if your loved one dies there otherwise you have to pay a 30-day move out fee. My father was literally catatonic for an entire at least one half day and the staff just ignored him - they wheeled him out and he just sat there. Do not be fooled by the beautiful buildings, this place is terrible. I’ve spoken to other families and they are all in the process of pulling their loved ones out. Untrained staff, several major errors, completely lie when they tell you what they can provide. Avoid at all costs.

We had a rough start. Medications were not available upon move in. Staff told us we had to administer Medications until their pharmacy provided the Medications. Communication is only done when the family approaches. Showers and toileting are not done as stated in the care plan. Showers 3 times a week and toileting every two hours. Activities not done as per the calendar. Staff do not appear to be adequately trained.
