Overall, a 5. Staff, most have been friendly. No name tags though. I like to know names. Food, not outstanding, but most of what I've seen, and tasted on occasion, was ok by me. My husband though complains about it, as other residents sometimes do. A.lot of food goes to waste. Activities are plentiful, and look interesting to me although my husband refuses to participate. Choosing an assisted living or memory care community for a loved one is not easy. The first choice we made turned out to be a poor one. In every respect MCE stood out as the superior care facility. The facility itself is new, modern and clean. The room size is quite adequate and each room has individual heating and air conditioning units that are pretty quiet. I got to visit this morning and it was wonderful. The residents were around the breakfast table enjoying a hot meal on a cool wet spring morning. It was like home, a family. The care givers were attentive and taking such great care to make sure everyone had what they wanted and were content. I had prepared myself for what I might see when going into a secured memory care but for no reason. It was wonderful and the goodness continued as I walked through the house. I'm so pleased!

My parents are residents at Mustang Creek in Flower Mound. The facility is new and beautifully decorated. The staff is very supportive and accommodating. They are knowledgeable about the changing needs of aging residents in assisted living and memory care.

Staff: So incredibly warm and thoughtful, dedicated. They see each resident as an individual and they have both the desire AND ability (time) to accommodate them individually. They go above and beyond expectations. The low ratio of residents to staff allows the staff to provide personalized care and my mom continues to rave about them after 2+ months. We moved my Aunt to Mustang Creek Estates the very first day they opened. We are so glad we did. Her progress has been amazing. At MCE she is doing more things for herself, she is more interactive, smiles more. She has high compliments for the food served. I have shared meals with her from time to time and I agree. Yum! Administration staff has been very helpful. Information from the caregiver staff is not very good. Lack of stimulating activities seem nonexistent in his building. I have never seen any posted activities being completed. Very important that he is very happy with the staff and his surroundings.
