Went w a tooth ache - left w a tooth ache. Saw both dentist and surgeon. It was apparent that future major dental work was more important. I had previously referred 2 family members to Encore . I will never again. 4 days after office visit I had to have dental surgery AT ANOTHER DENTIST OFFICE. Encore let me leave in pain while they waited for my Dental insurance estimate. I am beyond shocked. This was unethical.
I wouldn't even rate this place any stars at all . Never work for this place it is disgusting and rude how the people treat you there. I also felt like they were racists . Everyone has there own click and the trainer doesn't give a rats ass about training you. All the girls looked at me like as if I wasn't one of them . everything is based on favoritism. And they can fire you at any time it's called "at will" they can fire you for no reason at all and not even give you a direct answer as to why. There a horrible company.
I had an awful experience with encore dental. I was scheduled for oral surgery and it was priced extremely fair and was so happy. So I discussed the upcoming surgery 2 or three times with the staff over the phone. So literally the day of surgery they tell me the doctor can't do it because they put me in for an hour of surgery which I was told as well but it turns out it was gonna take over three hours to do surgery but staff put it in wrong and the doctor didn't have time for me. Had to wait at least 25 minutes after my appointment time until I even got into a room. At least another 10 until I actually saw the dentist. They then informed me that I had a large cavity and said that the tooth should be removed. I then went for a second opinion and I was told that it shouldn't be removed, and it should just have a root canal or a cap. The only reason it's two stars is because the staff was friendly. But overall, it wasn't a good experience.
Unethical. They informed me I had decay under a crown & the crown needed to be replaced. I went for a second opinion and The new dentist stated I neither had decay under the crown & there was no reason to replace the crown. Jim
I am so happy I now go to Encore Dental. I will start with the dentist's. They are A M A Z I N G!! Dr. Testa, Dr. Nick & Dr. Galante are who my son & I have had work done by so far & they were Great!! My son hates going to the dentist, it gives him horrible anxiety due to a dentist hurting him when he was younger at another dentist office. Dr. Testa is wonderful with him. My son loves him and isn't afraid to go any longer. He has gentle hands and is an expert at giving the dreaded shot of novacaine. I barely even felt the la... read more
i went there and was told i needed to have the one crown i had replaced, and two new crowns i was a little hesitant and decided to do two only they did the work took the impressions, gave me a temporary and sent me on my way the next day the temporary fell out i went back and they took it out and put some new 'glue' on to re-glue back in and i almost hit the ceiling in pain (i have a high threshold for pain too) the 'student' was doing this and the 'supervisor' said its ok it will go away i went home and as the days passed ... read more
i don't know how to submit a review of encore in shrewsbury so i will do it here. this review is for that location and not this one. i thought dr. dolan was good when i first came to see him. cleanings were efficient and appointments are easy to do and the price was right. however, as i trusted him, he told me i had a cavity in my upper left molar that needs to be addressed. he said it is close to my nasal cavity and a root canal would be needed and it would be a simple procedure. numerous X-rays were taken and he was ... read more
I wanted to give this place less than one star, but Yelp won't let me do that. I have been dicked around here for years. Had work done to a single tooth THREE times because the first two times it was done it was done incorrectly. And that was explained to me on my third visit, which eventually got fixed. Now, my wisdom tooth is broken. I knew it was broken and told them it was broken.
