Encore Dental of Toms River Staff is not connected and does not speak with one another between departments. Consulted for extraction of all remaining teeth and full implants with surgeon using sedation. Requested for second consult, they promised to call, no one did. Requested to take xanax before surgery, staff said absolutely not allowed. When my wife spoke with the surgeon during her unrelated visit they said absolutely I just needed to sign a consent before the appointment. Unprofessional staff, more about herding sheep than taking care of customers. They make their mistakes, no apologies offered, no empathy and you're the one paying for it. Please stay away from this place!! Horrible experience and received multiple stories of how they response to covid 19 screening. I was giving four different answers and the office was disorganized and couldn't find their second thermometer because the first one was having issues. After waiting 30 minutes and finding a manager to get the second thermometer,I was cleared from that machine.I was still turned away and told were not seeing you tonight period. I had previously reviewed this practice a week ago and removed my unfavorable review because one of the doctors who identified himself to be an owner of the practice reached out to me regarding my AWFUL experience. He had left a voicemail for me to return his call and sounded genuinely concerned about my experience. Upon entering Encore Dental, you get the impression that it is a great office. All of the dentists are professional looking with gleaming white perfect smiles. And you trust them because they are supposed to be the expert. And that is where you go wrong. I put my trust in Dr. Massaro and it was one of the worst mistakes I have ever made. The owner of Encore Dental just woldnt stand by work that another expert deemed done incorrectly. He told me to expletive off and wont get a penny. All I asked for was refund as not in state anymore. Watch out to any Dr that wont stand by their work. After comprehensive examination with xrays, localized gum inflammation between #31,32 was observed with bleeding on probing. #31 crown also had an open distal contact and distal open margin which was confirmed with explorer, floss and x-ray. I had been going to encore dental since I moved to The area. I liked that they have different specialists all under one roof. I have been in need of much dental work since being in an accident. I have been to encore 30 or more times. What I don't like is that i gave an honest reviewed encore dental on another website. The main reason I use this dentist office is because of convenience in location. Also, the dentists I've encountered have all been good/friendly. They don't seem to insist on getting work done after every 6 month visit the way my previous dentist did. The only thing is there is no continuity in care as I seem to see a different dentist each time I go. Encore Dental in Shrewsbury Office!! I went for two crowns and one week later and four office visits later in pain (no pain when I went) A different person/dentist each time. Now telling me I need thousands of dental work done. They could not get my temp crown correct !! Stay away if you value your dental health !!!
