There service was awsome! My transmission turned out great! Had a minor additional problem with my motor mounts being bad. But they helped me fix those as well and were quick to get me back on the road! I would highly recommend your business to anyone! Thanks Jeff and your staff for all your help!

The guys at The Transmission Shop of of Forest Lane were great. They took care of my vehicle in a reasonable amount of time and were on-target with their pricing estimate. It took about 3 days for a total transmission repair. I will definitely return if I have any additional transmission details.

Don't let the humble exterior of the shop fool you, these guys really seem to know what they are doing. I dropped off my 2006 Toyota 4Runner on a Wednesday with a noise coming from the rear axle. The guys at The Transmission Shop in Garland diagnosed the noise (worn-out pinion bearing), ordered the correct genuine Toyota replacement parts and replaced all the bearings and seals in the rear axle in time for me to pick it up Friday evening. We had a transmission replaced on a 2003 Dodge Neon. The staff was polite and courteous. Philip Shirley was our adviser and, although I had to call him for followups, he was most helpful and told us the car was in good condition motorwise. The transmission is working fine and we are very satisfied with the mechanics of the car. The price was quoted initially and remained the same. It was less than quoted by other services!

I have taken great care and maintenance of my truck but I knew a new transmission was in my near future. On 2/10/15 I called The Transmission Shop in Garland, TX. I was not having any problems but I did have 368,000 miles on it. I decided it was time to get my trans rebuilt before it left me stranded somewhere in the middle of a cold, rainy, night. First thing right off....this shop is very...very shifty. After reading some info on their web site I called th shop. Discribe to them my thoughts on what was wrong. Boy was I wrong. They sent a courtesy tow service to the house, and off my Nissan Frontier went. The service personel communicated the damage , cost of repairs for me to fully understand what the needs were to get back on the road.
