We just left topaz after going in for our dog Ruger's first checkup. I can honestly say that both me and my boyfriend are beyond satisfied with the level of care that is put into handling patients. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and the doctor B and the nurse Katrina actually LISTENED to our concerns instead of giving us the "I know what I'm doing" brush off that most vets do. Amazing care for my pupper, Diego. The entire team is friendly and knowledgeable, eased my concerns and talked through each of my options. Clinic is very clean and easy to get to, easy parking. They also have specialists come into the office depending on your needs and work with you. Super shoutout to Val & Staci :). I loved how thorough and compassionate they were with my furbabies.

This veterinary clinic was highly recommended by a pet resort in the area. My female standard poodle was having problems. She had developed a mass on her body and was having issues with mobility and joint pain. Because of our experience with other pets we suspected Valley Fever. They were able to get us in quickly and listened respectfully to our suspicions. They performed the blood tests for Valley Fever which confirmed our suspicions. We visited Topaz Veterinary Clinic when our dog became severely ill while visiting family in the Tempe area. Being from out of town I was very nervous about walking into an unknown clinic and wasn't sure of what to expect. Dr. Marzke was incredibly professional and kind from the get-go. After several tests our dog was unexpectedly diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma and he passed away ten days later. Dr. B is amazing, he takes his time explaining scenarios and treatments. The staff was very friendly and gentle with my little chi. He listened to my concerns and came up with a plan for my elderly dog to treat her and keep her comfortable. I will definitely be returning with all of my pets for any future needs. I think the few bad reviews where people are reviewing based on a phone call or a long wait are unfair as there are always other unforeseen variables. I can't recommend this vet enough. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for about 3 years for our pit bull Sam. Dr. Berthiaume is awesome. He goes above and beyond to answer all of our questions and address any concerns. He is super personable and genuinely cares about your pet's well-being. We have only had one appointment with Dr. Marzke, but she was just as great!

I wanted to write this review to compliment Topaz on their excellent customer service! Their prices are reasonable and office is clean. From the front desk, to the vet techs, to Dr B. and Dr. M I've always felt like everyone really cares. Thanks for giving such great service!
