After moving to Tempe, we established care with Dr Berthiaume for our dog. He has been fantastic. He doesn't push unnecessary testing, so it has never felt like a sales visit. He takes a few minutes at the start of each visit to sit on the floor with our dog and make her feel comfortable. At the most recent visit, there was an issue on her exam that was worrisome for a bigger problem. He recommended blood work, which we agreed to. My wife and I have had a great experience at Topaz with our new puppy. The prices are very reasonable compared to other vets we've been to with previous pets. Dr Marzke is amazing. She listens to any concerns we have and answers all of our questions thoroughly. Topaz will be our veterinary clinic from now on.
Our fur baby, Millie, is really high anxiety - so going to the vet was extremely traumatic for her until we found Topaz. The doctors are excellent and very calming - just what little Millie needs! And just as important, the doctors were able to effectively (and relatively inexpensively) solve her digestive issues that had stumped other vets. Highly recommend!

Topaz is BY FAR that best Veterinary Clinic I've ever experienced. Both Dr. B & Dr. Marzke are the most caring, understanding and patient vets. They actually LISTEN to your concerns. They treat my dog, Brewer, as if he is their own. We just went through a scary experience with my dog and they were unbelievably sympathetic and caring. We just left topaz after going in for our dog Ruger's first checkup. I can honestly say that both me and my boyfriend are beyond satisfied with the level of care that is put into handling patients. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and the doctor B and the nurse Katrina actually LISTENED to our concerns instead of giving us the "I know what I'm doing" brush off that most vets do. Amazing care for my pupper, Diego. The entire team is friendly and knowledgeable, eased my concerns and talked through each of my options. Clinic is very clean and easy to get to, easy parking. They also have specialists come into the office depending on your needs and work with you. Super shoutout to Val & Staci :). I loved how thorough and compassionate they were with my furbabies.
This veterinary clinic was highly recommended by a pet resort in the area. My female standard poodle was having problems. She had developed a mass on her body and was having issues with mobility and joint pain. Because of our experience with other pets we suspected Valley Fever. They were able to get us in quickly and listened respectfully to our suspicions. They performed the blood tests for Valley Fever which confirmed our suspicions. We visited Topaz Veterinary Clinic when our dog became severely ill while visiting family in the Tempe area. Being from out of town I was very nervous about walking into an unknown clinic and wasn't sure of what to expect. Dr. Marzke was incredibly professional and kind from the get-go. After several tests our dog was unexpectedly diagnosed with an aggressive form of lymphoma and he passed away ten days later.
