I enjoy the trop for the restaurant/bar aspect, however the checking in process, was not easy, and being told by a condescending worker by my the name Rochelle, that if I’m not a diamond member I don’t belong at the counter speaking to the desk person, did not sit well with me. I also didn’t like that even though my room was ready, and available that I had to pay an early check in fee. It was fine, nothing great Room was not properly cleaned. Water for shower was barely hot all weekend, hair dryer caught on fire and maintenance came the day of checkout to repair. Hotel room says updated but it’s not. The drain in the shower was caulked terrible. Furniture is warn. It was fine but likely won’t be back.
