P THEY NEVER ANSWER!!!!! FYI!! They promise you one thing with your membership and they can change their mind at any point and change the rules! Hahah they told us we can take in a guest with the most expensive membership. They decided they are no longer allowing it! They told us 24/7! They decided last month no more 24/7! The pads for the machines are very worn and falling apart!! Sad cause I really like the gym! GET THE CHEAPEST MEMBERSHIP! Not worth the extra money!!!
It’s not clean at all and on top of that, I canceled my membership back in December and i still got charged in January and every time I call they say it’s been escalated and they’re working on it but we’re already in May and still have not gotten my 50 dollars back. My boyfriend who also canceled has been getting charged all these months PLUS the yearly fee, i just wonder how much money they’re taking from all the people that have canceled. Horrible
I had been trying to cancel my membership since last October 2022. I cancelled in person with their 45 day notice and still charged me an extra month of membership. Was unable to reach them by phone, sent 5 emails to their GM who never replied to my last 2 emails and finally got a response via their instagram messenger. DO NOT JOIN. They steal your money. ME AND 2 OTHER FRIENDS have been trying to cancel OUR memberships since October and we are still getting charged. Even though every time we call they claim to say they have canceled the memberships already. I have also been trying to get my money back for months now and haven’t because the El Paso gym claims that corporate is in charge of that and corporate claims that the local gym is in charge of it.
While the price they advertise is nice fir what they "offer" its not that great. even worse - the "no contract, free week" they offer is a joke. I decided to CANCEL mostly because I didn't want to commit to a 30 minute one way drive. I rather use a closer gym even if it has less amenities (I really just want the daycare). Terrible gym! You can’t cancel the membership at all. Until they send you to collections and their attorney calls you. Gm and trainers use tactful ways to get you to sign, can’t take no for an answer. Supposed to be a month to month but its not. Shady how they use your bank info instead of just your debit/credit card. Bad gym over all. Save yourself from all this hassle from a gym that can’t even have A/C, so much for being “state of the art”.
