While the price they advertise is nice fir what they "offer" its not that great. even worse - the "no contract, free week" they offer is a joke. I decided to CANCEL mostly because I didn't want to commit to a 30 minute one way drive. I rather use a closer gym even if it has less amenities (I really just want the daycare). Terrible gym! You can’t cancel the membership at all. Until they send you to collections and their attorney calls you. Gm and trainers use tactful ways to get you to sign, can’t take no for an answer. Supposed to be a month to month but its not. Shady how they use your bank info instead of just your debit/credit card. Bad gym over all. Save yourself from all this hassle from a gym that can’t even have A/C, so much for being “state of the art”.
The most dirtiest gym in El Paso poor management and employees just don’t care about the facility. After talking to the manager and staff about how disgusting their restrooms they made no attempt to even empty the bins. What a waste of such a nice gym with good equipment so poorly managed. Hopefully corporate reads and addresses this with firm action.
not the atmosphere I'd recommend anyone take part in. just less restricted than on post gyms. waiting for a real solid gym to come along
I’m really disappointed in Trufit lately. The air conditioner has been out for several weeks, bathrooms are dirty, there are nails sticking out in the sauna, several treadmills are broken, classes are disappointing. During classes trainers are talking to each other and not showing you the exercises or teaching the class, this has happened several times. The most unprofessional management I’ve seen yet. Poor people skills , walked out and will not ever give that place my business.
I was given a free week trial w recruiters that’s stepped into my place of business back in the summer. They said as long as I didn’t go (which I didn’t) my membership would be canceled. I ended up getting really sick due to my pregnancy and getting TPN treatment so obviously I can’t go. I sent in necessary docs to an email that someone from front desk told me to send it and they never canceled my membership. I have been customer of Trufit for one and half years. I have been going to 34th street branch as its close to my home. They ripped me off for $1400 in personal training sessions which I couldn't continue because of COVID. They plain and simple not only refuse to refund but also refuse any training session for my credit. I contacted their corporate headquarters but didn't get any reply.
