Our Bailey boy who was 14 years old was declining fast this past week and we called everywhere to help him over the rainbow bridge to minimize his suffering. This office was THE ONLY place that said come right in now . We had to come from Westfield. Bailey had his last car ride which he enjoyed and the tech that met my husband in the parking lot escorted them right away into a room. My cat, Sophia developed a very serious case of Pancreatitis, stopped eating and was not responding to outpatient care. My vet referred me to VESH and after two weeks of care, Sophie came home. The VESH staff continued to follow her until she was back 100%. I believe I would have lost her without your care. I am so grateful. Thank you!

On June 19th, 2023, I brought my dog Aiko in she was in respiratory defense and they took care of her right away. It turned out she had cancer & had fluid around her heart and lungs. They were so kind & caring about telling me & making sure I knew my options. I chose to take her home & so the family could say goodbye and they made her comfortable with pain meds & made sure that I knew I could bring her back 24/7 if our vet couldn't help when her time came to cross the rainbow Bridge. I highly recommend this practice!!

Wonderful place to bring your fur babies. Very compassionate staff. I've never had to put a pet to sleep before, but did a week ago. Though it was a very hard but necessary decision, they were very patient and understanding with me and with my baby girl. I picked up Mika's remains yesterday. As I took the urn out I noticed an additional box. When I opened it I cried and cried. They gave me a paw print of my baby girl that I didn't about. I was so thankful to get that amazing gift. Thank you VESH with all my heart.

We needed to put our 17-year-old cat down. They treated us with great compassion and treated our beloved Jaz as if she were their own. We were never rushed to say our goodbyes and every step was clearly explained. Thank you, especially to Ally who was with us at every step.

Every one there was very kind and helpful. My cat “Belle “ was ill and Dr Dorsey took great care of her. The assistant was very caring and took the time to explain the care and costs with me . Highly recommend

Holy Dog - I gave my dog a soup bone on a Saturday night, and he loved it so much that it got stuck on his lower jaw. I called around, and there were zero emergency services available, but VESH told me to call the next morning at 5 AM, which I did, and they said they could take my seriously uncomfortable Australian Shepherd in. Within an hour, they admitted Jake, and although the initial approaches to dislodge the bone didn't work and they tried every tactic, they then had me agree to sedation. I’m so grateful for the compassion and care from the team at VESH Deerfield. One of my senior chihuahuas was accidentally injured by a foster dog while I was working night shift. I live in Belchertown and the closest emergency vet was VESH. I called and whoever I spoke to could hear my panic and said just bring him right in. They asked his name which was important. My dog Allie scraped her back leg on ice in the backyard and/or slipped on ice. She had an open bleeding wound. Took her to our vet and they wanted an outlandish amount of money to do the repair. I went to Deerfield and they did the repair for what I could afford and were so kind and caring to me (who was still freaking out from the prices my own vet had given me) and to Allie who was nervous seeing new people.
