Brought my rat in for surgery. When I picked her up I was told she had opened up her incision but they glued it up and sent us off. I got home and the incision was wide open and blood was everywhere. I called asap to let them know what happened and I was asked to send a picture. I was told there was nothing they could do and to keep the sight moist with water and if it looked infected to bring her in the next morning. Summary: (Full Experience below) When my dog arrived they did a triage and administered pain medication for her injury. It took 3.5 hours to speak to the doctor who recommended an x-ray. It took another 5 hours for the x-ray to get done and my dog to be discharged with a jaw fracture. They recommended pain medication and to wait and see and to possibly consult with a dental specialist in 6-8 weeks. Cost $1,400 to wait there all day for only pain meds and an x-ray.
