On the evening of February 26 my 16 year old 20lb cocker spaniel had some sort of medical emergency at home. I called every vet in my area and none were open and all recommend this hospital. So I called ahead and said we would be coming in from 45 minutes away. I was told to park in a numbered spot and they would come out when we called. This place is a drive up euthanization clinic. After spending almost 5 hours in the parking lot and watching 3 different family's say goodbye to their pets because they were just quoted their life savings for the most minimal possible services. Quoted up to $3400-$4000 to do testing or $1700 for overnight renourishment and kenneling... Then claiming they did nothing to look at my friend's cat in the last hour because they have yet to be paid... ...yet they want $127, still when we say just bring her out to go home! POOR SERVICE!!! DROVE FROM CHICOPEE BECAUSE MY DOG WAS HAVING AN EMERGENCY HE COULD’NT BREATHE BECAUSE THROAT IS CLOSING DUE TO UNKNOWN REASONS SO THEY LEFT HIM SITTING IN PARKING LOT TO SUFFER FOR OVER 5HRS!!! NOW HAVE TO DRIVE 2 HRS AWAY TO WEST HARTFORD WHAT A SHAME

Based on other reviews I ran into the same problem Sunday night my pup has been vomiting since the morning wasn’t able to keep anything down and wasn’t drinking water I was concerned because when he did throw up I found a chunk of plastic in earlier in the week he had gotten into something so I was afraid that there might of been a blockage or something going on when I called them the girl on the phone said oh if he has a possible blockage you need to get him here right away which we did or 40 minutes away. You could improve your services in all areas starting with staying within agreed upon budgets. Your communication is horrid. You leave pet owners to sit waiting for more than 5 hrs for a clinical plan without updates. Your rude receptionist and arrogant ICU veterinarians seem only to be looking to pad the bill with more and more unnecessary tests/exams. We will never return to this place. You have a long way to go to improve. Seems to me you have a pretty bad reputation among local pet owners and now we understand why.

My pup was poisoned by eating a burning bush this past saturday night. There are no vets available in cheshire county NH on nights and weeekends. Thus I had to deal with the poison center and this hospital in Deerfield, Ma. The veterinarian was very helpful in resolving his sickness after keeping him overnight. She did a wonderful job. I brought my cat here recently. They are over priced, have a super long wait. I showed up at 10:30pm and my cat wasn’t seen until 4am. Staff never checked on me once or contacted me to update on the wait time etc... There was also terrible communication between staff and the customers/ pet owners. When they finally came to get my cat I asked them if I needed to wait if could go home?
