I took my sick animal to VESH. After waiting hours in the car, they brought him inside, swinging the carrier around as they walked away from my car (keep in mind he was naturally more anxious and the way they handled him did not help). After waiting another hour, they called me with two options: put him down, or agree to pay $3-5k. There's no middle ground with them. Absolutely would NOT recommend this place! I could handle the 9 hour wait in the parking lot ( Porta potties are outside, they won’t let you use their bathrooms) , it was the lack of communication and their completely wrong diagnosis. After calling them every day for 4 days for the results of my dogs lab work and why he was sick they finally suggested I take my dog to Tufts. Deerfield never sent my dogs records but within 15 minutes Tufts knew why my dog was so sick. There was no 9 hour wait, no talking to a doctor over the ... read more

The only thing I can recommend about VESH is to stay away! I dropped my 12 week old puppy off at 1pm Wednesday with a deposit of 1300$. Wednesday night I was called and informed that the puppy's kidneys were failing. I was told they tested for Lepto and the snap test came back negative. I was told they were going to start treating him for Lepto and that the more accurate test had been done but it would take days to come back. Thursday morning I got a text at 8:30am telling me that I was 500$ over my deposit. I got a ca... read more

I don't think that I had ever been more frantic and scared. I called different places, spent Friday night in a parking lot at a different "emergency vet" (I use quotes because they couldn't manage an emergency) the one in Windsor,. Their $800 verdict was that he was a "very sick kitty." But, couldn't do anything for him. VESH did EVERYTHING for him. And, he is home. They could have been crooks and kept him for another night. My cat 😺 Dolly Marie got out side(she's a frequent escapee) last Wednesday morning and got hit and had pretty significant injuries I was able to find a ride to vesh from Brattleboro Vermont and yes while there was a waiting period these things are to be expected when they're packed with the emergencies I have to say that there's no doubt whatsoever that my dolly would not have survived without their care, I am having a huge issue with the bill but I can tell you this they saved my baby in that bill will get paid in full in ... read more

Im sure they will delete this but Vesh does not care about your animals unless you have money!! They will turn a DYING pet away. They even have a fund for people who need help with paying but they don't use it for that. They use it for pizza and novelty items for their favorites.. They are so understaffed and extremely CARELESS, I mean making major mistakes They always don't take responsibility for. The turnover rate is so high and the amount of people who quit on the spot is unreal. I would not trust a stuffed dog in their... read more

Have now been told twice now about my pets that “well, he’s not dying or anything, it’s not a true emergency so….” I don’t bring my animals in for just anything. My dog better not go blind, that’s all I can say. I will say, they happily take my tens of thousands of dollars though. I really wish there was someone else local to go to. They don’t care at all about customer service anymore. The Docs are great. Techs/office? Not so much.

terrible hospital. made us wait 2 and a half hours with no result. brought our dog back out to wait in the car because other dogs were in more "critical condition". claimed my dog ate marijuana which is impossible and said to bring him home and watch him because he is stable and fine. He even took a test to see any thc in his system and it came back negative but they still said it was that.. Terrible!!! I understand short staffing but this is no reason to force someone to stay in their car for 9 hours told they can’t leave until the vet talks to them!!! No food no place to use the bathroom!! Just stuck in our car with Zero answers!! Keep being told we will find something out soon.... then close to 9 hours pass!! We are forced to leave!
