I think it speaks volumes that when I said goodbye to first pet last year, what comforted me was she was under the care of Dr. Drees in her last months. I didn't have any questions about "what if" because he provided us so much support, information and compassion. This is so valuable because our pets can't speak for themselves, so it's incredibly important to have a provider who listens when we advocate for them. I brought by puppy in for an emergency visit And at the risk of sounding dramatic I thought he was dying. We saw Dr Kleinmann who quickly put me at ease. Although he was sick, he wasn't dying. She listened to my hysteria without judgement and he was able to go him with me with a treatment plan I understood and was comfortable with. He recovered quickly and I can't thank Vienna Animal Hospital and Dr Kleinmann enough!

Been coming here for years with all of our dogs. Have always felt they have included me in the decision making process for my pups when they have been sick. Have always loved Dr. Brook beside manner. Just so down to earth and real when the tough decisions need to be made.

Wow... I realized today I didn't know what a "good" vet experience was until I came to Vienna Animal Hospital. You really don't know what you don't know. I've had a terrible experience with another vet in Fairfax and decided to give this place a try after 2 people recommended it. The doctor allowed me to be with my dog as she checked up on him and treated him. Both the doctor and the staff tried their hardest to ensure my dog was feeling comfortable by giving him treats so he could warm up to them, and some gravy to distr... read more

I'm very grateful for Dr Pickard's care of my dogs Chai and Chloe over the past years. She has always been very patient with all my follow up questions and dog mom concerns. I'll never forget when I brought chai in as a puppy for his first vet visit five years ago, how at the end of the appointment she told me I was doing a great job as a new dog mom.
