Dr. Chafitz is enormously caring and competent. We initially explored one plan of action for my senior dog but he recommended another that made more sense. That approach helped my senior dog get around for 6 months despite osteoarthritis in her back legs. When I had a question from time to time, Dr. Chafitz replied immediately by email or by phone. While many vets care about their patients, the sense of caring we got from Vienna Animal Hospital never ebbed. I highly recommend them.

Dr.Chafetz awesome veterinarian, very kind, very knowledgeable , I wish they have a wellness plan like Banfield does I would totally leave Banfeild and come here all the time . Very nice staff and very clean inside when you were allowed to go inside . They all were masks come out to the car very professional.

Excellent experience! I would highly recommend 5 stars. Dr. Sandra Pickard is very diligent and knowledgeable. She's also very kind and caring. I moved here from CA and was worried about finding a new vet for my 14 year old dog, but worry no more. Dr. Pickard was able to fit me in last minute and I was ever so appreciative and thankful.

Family was on spring break while I watched our dog, Coco. When Coco got sick I was clueless. I called our vet (VAH) and Dr. Shaw offered to see her immediately. She spent 2+ days caring for Coco, and calming me. I never thought about a Vet's "beside manner" until last week. Dr Shaw listened to me, gathered info about Coco's symptoms, understood my concerns regarding staying overnight, and treated her like I would; as a family member. We've trusted Dr. Sandra Pickard for about five years with our three dogs. She has yet to miss the mark on any diagnosis. She takes her time to truly listen to our concerns and ensures that she gets her treatment right. We've worked with multiple vets and her bedside manner goes above and beyond typical care. We brought our Annie, our latest rescue to meet Dr. Brook and her tech team. They were very thorough in the exam and explaining what they discovered in the exam. We are very pleased with their professionalism and respect to COVID protocol. I highly recommend them. They are very customer service oriented.

We took our dog for her first vet visit in NoVa and we were impressed by VAH's covid19 protocol & the attentiveness of Dr. Shaw. The staff came outside to our car to get our dog, and Dr. Shaw held the consultation with us outdoors. She answered a million of our questions.

Dr. Shaw is absolutely amazing! She is responsive, kind, friendly, always smiling, and takes amazing care of my dogs. I have had dogs all my life and met many vets, but she goes above and beyond for her patients!!! She stood out in the rain (during COVID) and answered all my questions with a huge smile on her face.
