We've been to several different veterinary practices because we move so often. I've never had a terrible experience, but our three visits to Vienna Animal Hospital have been excellent. Dr. Chafetz is as wonderful with humans as he is my dog. He explains the reasoning and science behind what he's doing and makes sure I understand everything about my dog's health. Will probably continue seeing him as long as we live in the NoVA/DC area.

I have been bringing my cats here since we moved to Vienna in 2001 and have been recommending them to everyone since then. The care has been wonderful. . Everyone in the office is always friendly and helpful. Dr. Westfall definitely keeps up on the latest research and treatments. When our elderly cat had multiple chronic conditions, she was kind enough to do a phone consult with me weekly to save the cost of frequent office visits when they would not really accomplish much for my cat's health. I just took my boxer here for the first time last Friday with an ear infection. The staff was great. My dog is a little unpredictable and sometimes leash aggressive. When I told the staff they immediately gave us an exam room to wait in as I filled out papers. We were seen by Dr. Eric Wolf. He was great with my big, slobbery dog and even provided price quotes right away for the different medication and vaccines I wanted to get. I needed a new vet because when I got my dog a friend recommended a vet in McLean that was just WAY too expensive so I turned to Yelp to see who had the best reviews. Vienna Animal Hospital came up right at the top of the list. I called with the issue that I had, my dog was having issues with his eye, and the receptionist said that they had an appointment that day so I went in. We love our vet! Dr. Wolff has provided our family with wonderful care. He assisted my parents with end of life issues with their beloved cats with great empathy. When it was time for my husband and I to adopt our 2 kittens, we went straight to Dr. Wolff. He saw them the day after we adopted them. I cannot say enough about this place. We started going there in 2007 and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely interested in our dog's well being and getting her the best care. They helped us with questions about food, natural ways to help treat our dog's colitis. When our dog fell ill one night we were able to get Dr. Wolff on the phone and he recommended an emergency vet nearby. Unfortunately, our dog did not make it through that night. I have nothing but praise for Vienna Animal Hospital! We are long-time clients who usually see Dr. Chafetz. He cared for my favorite cat through many years of intestinal lymphoma and age-related illnesses, finally giving him a peaceful end when the poor guy was ready to go. Through the years, our other pets have received the same compassionate, professional treatment from Dr. Chafetz and the other wonderful doctors. We have taken our cats to Vienna Animal Hospital for years. We recently had to have one of our old kitties put down. Dr. Wolff was so helpful and patient through her illness and the lead-up to this decision. On the day of, he and his assistant could not have been more kind. Afterward, we received notice from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine Feline Health Center that the vets at Vienna Animal Hospital had made a donation in our kitty's name.

I am giving Vienna Animal Hospital five stars for a wonderful first impression. I hope my search for a good local vet is over! I went in for a routine visit with my cat. We were greeted warmly and seen by the vet very quickly, even though it was a holiday. Dr. Westfall was so friendly and great with my cat! You can tell a vet is great when animals are completely comfortable with them. Our visit was efficient and she answered all my questions completely. At this point, I have complete confidence bringing my pets here.
