Our 16 year old beloved cat began to show respiratory issues and lost a significant amount of weight in a very short period of time. We took her to Dr. Chafetz during this Covid isolation. The doctor came out and greeted us in PPE and allowed us to explain the issues. He took her into the facility and performed an Xray where her lung cancer was very evident. my wife and I came with our dog Aikman one morning to this office for an emergency visit - an ear infection w/ blood unfort. This was a first time visit since our usual vet was filled up. I simply wanted to write in and officially state that I was VERY pleased with our visit. The staff, the Doctor, the cleanliness of the room and office, etc were to our liking. It is with a THANKFUL heart that I write this. Dr. Shaw and the team at VAH have been good all along, but especially supportive as we deal with the death of our fur baby Baily. They are thorough, genuine and SO kind!! Veterinarian care is always pricey --- but they give options and alternatives when they can. Dr. Shaw called me personally to see how I and my remaining dog are doing with this new absence in our lives. What can I say, these guys are the best. They have cared for my dogs and cats since 2005. We've been through puppies, rescues and dogs dying. Such wonderful people. Truly their life's calling.

Put fog Masey was seen here by Dr. Shaw. She was very ill and the staff at VAH were incredibly compassionate. They were so kind to Masey and called to check in frequently. They were compassionate enough to let me stay with her at all times and not have to leave her for procedures and testing. When the time came for us to put our dog to rest, Dr. Shaw came in on her day off to be there. I had no complaints with their care - they were wonderful!

I called in on July 10th and spoke with Robyn. She was able to fit my little kitten Mochi in on July 12 with Dr. Brooks! She even emailed me the new patient form so I can fill it out before my visit. I LOVE this. There is nothing worse than sitting in a doctors/vet office filling out forms and then getting to the actual appointment. I was checked in right away and sat in the cat section of the waiting room. The ladies up front offered me coffee and water. Pretty cool! My own doctor doesn't even do this haha. This post is a long time coming! I have moved all over the place in the last eight years. BUT no matter where I am, I always bring my dog to Vienna Animal Hospital. Finding a Doctor you trust with your best friend is tough! I am thankful that we found Dr. Chafetz. Throughout the years, my dog Teddy has had all lots of general checkups, but also needed surgery. Dr. Chafetz is the best vet ever. He taught me dog ear anatomy and how to prevent ear infections. He gave advice over the phone. He is kind and caring. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has Ben our vet for 14 years.

Just got back from a visit with Dr. Pickard. We have seen several other docs here, and we are always pleased, but I wanted to give a special shout out to Dr. Pickard. All of the docs have done a thorough exam and we were very happy with our pup's care. Dr. Pickard demonstrated sincere concern and excellent bedside manner, and promised to follow up with us in a few days. I only knocked one star as prices do keep steadily rising here, but I'm sure that is the case anywhere.
