My experiences there were very sad and depressing. I was in villa las palmas for 5 months and I left only to be taken back to the hospital repeatedly for infections and scabies due to a lack of care and cleanliness. I was given no therapy there after becoming a quadriplegic despite having both medi-cal and private insurance. They would not even put my braces on hands so they became contracted. If I could give a zero or less I would. My father was in the ICU for two weeks prior to coming here. He was sent here and NO ONE acknowledged us for hours, a rep from an outside equipment facility showed us how to use his respiratory machine. The next day I visited my father and thought he was sleeping. I called several times and they told me he was alert even when I was there (lies).
