I will give 0 stars to this so called health facility, all these reviews are TRUE!!! Beware... do not take your loved one here, they do not care!!! No passion at all, they do not even assist... removed my mother fast...I was first concerned to leave my mother once I read all the negative reviews so we checked her in and truly found out it's the Worst place ever! Beware!!! Our mother would have passed if we left her any longer in that Hellhole!

It smells Horrible,people bring in dogs and then there is 3 people up to a room so there is no privacy and then the people are just lying around everywhere

If you have any choice of where to place your loved one--DO NOT place them here. 3 to a room, no fresh air, HVAC sucks, food is horrible, staff does not care (well maybe 25% do) call lights not answered for hrs. social services dept who you can never reach, onsite doctor who will never call you back. How can a place with 98% of the people are in wheelchairs not have auto doors? As we were driving in, we were trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but as you entered the entrance the building smelled and it felt like a haunted house. As we toured, there was only one family member there visiting a loved one and it didn't even seem she wanted to be there. I would be surprised if there were some elderly people dead in there bed. If you have a loved one, please do not send them there.

My mother in law has been a patient here for over a year. During this time she has caught scabies twice. We typically visit her a few times each month. The hallways leading to her room smell awful. Very strong urine smell. It's not uncommon to see patients in wheelchairs rolled out into the hallways and left there, to stare at the walls all day. The rooms are ridiculously small. Took my mother out of this facility without their approval. Went immediately to the ER at Alvarado Hospital. She was admitted and diagnosed with pneumonia. She was discharged three weeks later and returned home. This was a horrible experience.

Believe the bad reviews. This place got raves from friends and family, but when I brought a family member here they were unwelcoming, unprepared, and almost negligent. They did not have the pain medication available, did not review the chart, and confused a broken leg with a broken hip. The rooms were dirty and dilapidated. The bed alarms to keep a patient from falling out of bed did not function. The director refused to put bed rails up, and the staff, when asked, said "People fall. I Wish there were negative star ratings!!!!! I'd like to know what the connection is with Kaiser??? Like I saw in another review, Kaiser gave a list of options for care facilities and when one was selected they said it could not provide the proper care and our dad would need to go to Villa las Palm-Ass! The care/neglect brings me to tears as I write this review. IF you value your life or your loved one's life. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. This is a disgusting, revolting, nasty, unhygienic, overcrowded, smelly, unqualified, place where any human beings should not be receiving any kind of care here. Unfortunately, I was sent here directly from Kaiser.I was told that this was the "only" bed in all of San Diego county, that was available.
