My friend was in Villa Las Palmas for almost 6 weeks after a hospital stay. He got to know the staff and liked them so much, he was a little sad to leave. Every staff member I came in contact with was very friendly and wanted to help in any way they could. If I need rehab someday, my first choice will be Villa Las Palmas.
My family and I moved my 91 year old ailing mother into Villa Las Palmas Healthcare Center one month ago. Finding an appropriate skilled nursing facility was extremely important and challenging for us. Before deciding, we were given a tour of the facility, and we were impressed by the overall appearance of the center. Staff were very friendly and described the services that could be provided. My mother in law is staying here to stabilize her her COPD. I walked in last weekend to her crying because she is homesick. Her nurse was comforting her with a big hug! Super kind. Yes, the rooms aren't big. Yes, there are three people in a room. My mother in law is happy and her two room mates seem content (:
I met with Erin regarding the care of my 86-year-old mother. She addressed all of my concerns, and was very kind and understanding. There was some miscommunication between my mother, the doctor, and myself. Now that I have a better understanding as to what happened, I can give them a high score for caring enough to reach out to me and resolve the concerns I had. Thank you Erin.

I stayed in this facility for a week and it was a pleasure. The staff is very friendly and helpful, I do believe there is a problem with overcrowding, but even with that said I would have rather been there than not. The physical therapy staff really helped me to get back on my feet so I could get back home as soon as possible. I also had the pleasure of being under the care of nurse Terry she is a great nurse as well as a person, who more than once went out of her way to assist me.
