Getting there was fine and they were all nice. However, I told the tech the reason for the MRI--finding the peroneal nerve compression site. I told her we werent' sure if a lipoma on my ankle could be responsible for the peroneal nerve compression that the MRI was to look for. The tech put a marker on the lipoma and said she would note that was a side issue. The report came and only mentions the lipoma! Plus, they did not send the actual images back to UCLA so they could actually have their people look at the images for... read more

I used the online appointment system to attempt to schedule an appointment. The system was clear that my appointment was not scheduled and that someone from Washington Radiology would contact me to confirm the appointment. I used the system on Tuesday October 22nd. I requested an appointment for 10/31. No call came. I called the office twice, leaving a voice mail each time. No calls were returned. Having an injury I wish to have properly diagnosed and treated, I gave up on Washington Radiology. I scheduled with som... read more

It would have helped if I were told that the MRI facility was in the basement of the Bethesda office. I panicked when I saw that their regular facility had closed for the day. Fortunately, I had their number and called and eventually got past their voice mail to speak to a human who told me to go downstairs for the MRI. The office has made no attempt to provide my orthopedist with the results. It has been a week. I have called multiple times and have only gotten voice mail. This has been extremely frustrating!

I will not recommend this office. Worst experience: - first visit; the mammogram was painful - they first told me I had an isometry and another exam was needed just to be safe and closer exam was needed . I kind of knew this was strange request but, I still schedule a 2nd appointment and while there and before doing anything I asked to explain me WHY this second exam was needed and the technician replied: "because we saw something different that past exam!" and I replied: But I never came to your office in the past,..I am ... read more

The African American woman that took my ultrasound was so rude. Rolled her eyes & didn't really put much effort to locate my concerns & was just taking pictures just to take pictures to get me out of there fast. Zero compassion!! I will NEVER return here. They do not care about your health. But besides that the front desk were welcoming.

Go to John's Hopkins University Radiology next building if all possible. Had a routine mammogram appointment today at Bethesda location this morning on my day off. After coldly being told to sign in first, I was then told by Michelle the front desk I had to reschedule the appointment as I didn't have an order from my " Gyn provider", who is on the list of providers that will not allow their patients to have routine mammogram without their order, which is completely news to me and false. I tried to explain to Michelle tha... read more

Must give 1 star. Mistreated during mammogram by a crazy abusive technician. Left in tears and in pain although in the form I had indicated I needed support to stand for more than 10 minutes. Technician completely disregarded disability. Will never go there again. Worse, for a separate procedure (that is not covered by insurance), they charge $250, while Johns Hopkins Radiology (right in the building next door) charges $75. Had been going there for 2 decades. They restaffed after COVID, and Voila! Finally, the waiting ... read more

I do not recommend this location. Unless you're unemployed and have nothing better to do than sit in waiting area. This place always runs 30+ minutes late- I consider it fairly disrespectful and even abusive to patients. I needed imaging done that had certain requirements that caused extreme discomfort in the prep - pretty uncomfortable and I just have to wait and wait and wait- and, of course, this wait actually costs me money as parking is not free here so meter is ticking..... One good thing that happened during covid... read more

Only people that were kind were the women at the front desk. They were amazing. However, the sonographer took a while to warm up as she wasn't very inviting upon initial meet. Also I FELT HORRIBLE the way Dr Johnson left me on the bed with gel all over my pregnant stomach when she was done and just walked out the room. She didn't even bother to assist in helping me clean the gel or help me sit up. As a pregnant woman, human, and patient I was applauded at her zombie like lack of bedside manner. Like you can't help wipe the ... read more
